Songwriting for the Church

Here at The Worship Initiative, we’re all about equipping God’s Church to sing God’s Word–which is why we get really excited about songs for the Church being written by the Church. But writing congregational worship music is a very different discipline from writing a pop song, or a country song, or even a personal, devotional song to God. In this series, we discuss why congregational worship songs are so important and how to approach songwriting with that end in mind.
